Grab the kids and join the fun this weekend at Visual Arts Mississauga's annual Children and Teens’ Spring Art Celebration. All are welcome to the event featuring over 250 creative works by VAM students. The exhibition takes place Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5, 2016 from 9 AM - 4 PM. VAM is located at 4170 Riverwood Park Lane, Mississauga, Ontario.

VAM will also offer free art-making activities for youth from 11 AM - 3 PM on Saturday, June 4.
 
“We look forward to VAM’s Children and Teens' Art Celebration each year. The exhibit showcases the burgeoning creative energy of Mississauga’s youth,” explains VAM Executive Director Annis Karpenko. “This event gives artists as young as six an opportunity to present their work to the public. It’s always a beautiful show and a wonderful chance to bring families and friends together to celebrate the artistic accomplishments of our youth.”    

Family and friends will vote for the winners. VAM thanks award sponsor, Curry’s Artist’s Materials who is donating three special Prize Packs which will be awarded on Monday, June 6, 2016. The 1st place winner will also receive a complimentary week at VAM’s Kids’ Summer Art Camp or a Teen Summer Art Course.
