What is MuslimFest?
MuslimFest has been celebrating the best of Muslim art, entertainment, and culture since 2004. It features concerts, comedy shows, film screenings, and much more. There will also be workshops on a variety of subjects including calligraphy and songwriting, a marketplace bazaar with plenty of interesting exhibits and items for purchase, a kids area with pony rides, and of course, a ton of delicious ethnic food from Afghanistan to Malaysia and everywhere in between.
Where and when is MuslimFest?
MuslimFest takes place Saturday August 27th from 12 PM to 11 PM, and Sunday August 28th from 12 PM to 7 PM, at Celebration Square in downtown Mississauga.
How much is admission to MuslimFest?
Admission is free! The workshops are also free, but spots are limited so make sure you pre-register here if you're interested.
What are some of the main attractions at MuslimFest?
Too many to list, but our must-sees would be YouTube sensation Adam Saleh, calligraphy workshops with Omar Uddin, and the marketplace bazaar. Also not to be missed is the world record event for longest shawarma! For a complete schedule, please visit the MuslimFest website.
