Craftiness brings happiness this holiday season
Following the success of Craftadian’s first year at the First United Church, Craftadian’s Christmas market returns to Port Credit on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Discover some of the best in local, handmade design with a carefully curated roster of more than 40 makers. The event is a great opportunity to discover gorgeous jewelry, art, fashion, ceramics, illustration, stationery, home decor, and skincare.
Instead of shopping big box retailers this holiday season, consider supporting local business. Here's a round up of Craftadian favourite gift ideas:
In addition to a vibrant line up of local artisans selling their unique wares, the market is enhanced by a homemade food stall, a visit by Santa, and children's interactive stations by Oak Learners.
What's more, a portion of the proceeds go towards Crafting for a Cure, a not-for-profit registered charity that looks for opportunities to ensure children are having a positive experience when a hospital visit is necessary. Tickets run for $3 a person, and the first 50 families in line at 10 a.m. get a free swag bag filled with handmade goodies.
