Learn about the e2 Young Engineers program

[PRESENTED BY E2 YOUNG ENGINEERS]

An innovative Science Technology Engineering Mathematic teaching after school program for children that's taught in 42 countries has landed in Mississauga!

The Young Engineers Central is a fun and unique program is for young kids in preschool, daycare and kindergarten (ages 4 to 6 and 6 to 12) to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM for short)

The Big Builders program incorporates tactile, motor, and spatial skills while introducing science and engineering principles using K’nex® building blocks. These programs are conducted in small groups to ensure each Big Builder obtains the intended knowledge and experience.

Program Subjects Include:

Physics Principles: Basic principles such as balance and buoyancy
Animal Kingdom: Various animals – domestic and wild
Biology: Natural pest control, pollination and symbiosis
The Universe: Space, Earth and the Solar System
Geometry: Characteristics of basic geometric shapes
Transportation and Traffic Safety: Understanding different types of vehicles including motorcycles, trucks, cars and boats
The Bricks Challenge program introduces elementary school children (ages 6-12) to the basic principles of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). By integrating basic arithmetic learned in school with an intuitive active learning process, children grasp a better understanding of the fundamentals of physics and engineering concepts.
