BrainTech Robotics Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) Learning Centre will be holding their first workshops ($50 each) in Mississauga on weekends in April at Downsview Park HUB building at 70 Canuck Ave, Toronto, M3K 2C5   

They offer workshops to young Girls ages 11 to 17. This is in keeping with the efforts of the STEM program to encourage women to enter careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, areas they are under represented. They also feel that part of this reason is that they are unaware of the possibility of careers in these fields at an early age. Their mission is to get them excited at an early enough age that they will stay engaged throughout their schooling and know what they need to get there. They have Tech Sisters assigned to those enrolled as roll models.
