Small Arms Inspection Building – 1352 Lakeshore Road East
The Small Arms Inspection Building is a historic, multi-purpose building that houses a wide range of arts and cultural programs. This venue has 18,000 square feet of flexible, open-concept industrial space, with a capacity for 400 people. Did you know: in 1940, the site became a large munitions plant manufacturing rifles and small arms for the Canadian Army through the Second World War until 1974. Women made up the majority of the factory’s workforce.
C Banquets – 300 City Centre Drive
Towering 12 stories above downtown Mississauga, this contemporary venue features floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing panoramic views. Complimentary on-site parking after 6 p.m. and on weekends is available – and this location also offers free audiovisual equipment and many options for customized menu and bar options. Did you know: 300 City Centre Drive is also the location of Mississauga’s Council Chambers and the Art Gallery of Mississauga. The building contains more than 20,000 tons of marble.
BraeBen Golf Course – 5700 Terry Fox Way
In the heart of the Mississauga is BraeBen Golf Course. This venue has floor-to-ceiling windows and the Highlands Dining Room boasts 180-degree serene views of pristine fairways and rolling hills with the ability to host a banquet of up to 200 guests. Customized menus, complimentary parking and audiovisual equipment are available, as well as a private outdoor patio space. Did you know: besides golf, you can also play FootGolf at BraeBen. FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The rules are the same as golf but played with a soccer ball.
