Why You Should Be Thinking About Canada For Your Bachelor Party

If you are looking for a weekend away for the big send off of your buddy, then you probably have a few places narrowed down.

Is Canada on that list? Well, it should be. Though it is not on a lot of people’s radar for as an exotic destination, there is far more to Canada than meets the eye and it is ideal for a boys weekend away.

From beer festivals to golfing, there is something for every taste. Read on for some reasons you should be thinking about Canada for your bachelor party.

It will save you money
Within just a couple of hours flight from most of the US and a drive for many others, there is a land where you actually get more for your dollar. The Canadian dollar is worth about $0.75 so you get basically $5 for every $4 you spend.
That’s quite a deal. Everything you do will end up costing you less just by way of the favorable exchange.
When you consider how much you are spending on groomsmen gifts from the Groomsshop plus what you would have to spend on accommodations and everything else for the weekend it would really add up. Taking the trip North will be very easy on your wallet.

Something for everybody
Not everybody wants a hedonistic and debauched bachelor party. But, the good news is if that is what you do want, you can also have it in Montreal instead of going to Vegas.
There are many famous strip joints and bars on St Catherine Street in Montreal so you will have quite a lot of choices for some naughtiness. There is even a fantastic casino to get some gambling in as well.
If you are more into visiting wineries, then you can go to the Niagara area and sip on some ice wine, or head towards the Rockies and visit wineries in the Okanagan Valley.
If you love the idea of some offbeat adventure then a trip up to British Columbia can get you into a grizzly bear safari where you can observe the magnificent beasts from a safe distance.

Great food scene
Fine French cuisine meets colonial tastes in the province of Quebec. If you love foie gras and have a thing for maple syrup then you shouldn’t miss a trip to this region with your gourmand buddies where you’re sure to see them combined.
Heading towards the Maritime provinces, you’re going to get some of the freshest, and cheapest lobsters you’ve ever had. You may not think of Eastern Canada as a foodie haven, but there is a farm to table movement that is very strong in that area, particularly in Prince Edward Island. The latter of which is also where you can go for a tuna fishing excursion and then eat what you caught later on.

Conclusion
You might get some funny looks when you suggest Canada for your bachelor party. But show your friends this list of reasons and you’ll change their minds quickly!
