2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the legislation that created BIAs, a made-in-Canada initiative that has become one of our greatest exports. The legislation has inspired Downtown Revitalization around the world with BIDs, BIAs, and BIZs in many countries, including the US, Great Britain, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Singapore, India, and China.

Currently there are more than 300 BIAs in the province of Ontario. Businesses,governments, and community members believe in the concept and have seen the successes in the model of "Main Street" communities everywhere.

The Streetsville BIA could not be more excited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BIAs with you at our 2nd Car Show and Community BBQ!

Guests can come down to The Legion at 101 Church Street to enjoy a variety of cool cars on display, as well as a range of food options from the The Legion's community BBQ. We are also excited to announce that Redder, an upbeat classic rock n' roll band that will have you dancing all afternoon, will be joining us again this year to provide live music! 

They are asking all guests of this event to please be mindful of the City of Mississauga COVID-19 safety guidelines including; physically distancing with a minimum of two meters between guests, practicing good hygiene such as covering your coughs and sneezes, and wearing a mask or facial covering when physical distancing is not possible.

They will be accepting non-perishable food donations for Eden Food for Change.
