Craig Ewing has been creating one-of-a-kind pieces for many years, making wearable art for everyday as well as more elaborate designs for special occasions. Brides often seek out Ewing to custom design accessories for themselves and others in their wedding party.

“I find endless inspiration in fashions from the art deco era of the 1930s to the post-war flare of the 1950s”, relates Ewing. He is known for his beautiful pearl necklaces which he strings by honoured traditional methods. “My pieces are built one pearl, crystal or bead at a time, taking hours and hours to complete. Some of my pieces have taken as many as 45 hours to build, one tiny bead at a time”, adds Ewing. “It is so rewarding to be able to add that special touch to someone’s special day”. 

Ewing regularly exhibits his work in high-end art shows throughout the area. He often receives requests to accessorize fashion photo shoots and has been featured often in the media. Arts on the Credit is honoured to present Ewing’s incredible work in our gallery space.

Arts on the Credit, a not for profit arts organization in Mississauga is embracing the virtual and highlighting member artists each month in 2021, pivoting to ensure the ongoing promotion and showcasing of local talent.
