Learn about the picturesque Pumpkins After Dark drive through experience

A short drive from good ol’ Mississauga is where you’ll an excellent autumn drive through experience, Pumpkins After Dark (PAD.)
A 2021 Hamilton Halton Brant Innovative Tourism Award recipient and a 2021 Achievement Award winner from Festivals and Events Ontario, PAD is conveniently located at Country Heritage Park in Milton.
Here are some interesting figures about PAD:
They use approximately 8,000 pumpkins
There are 5 expert pumpkin carvers who bring this to life
2020 saw approximately 143,000 visitors experience PAD
Using a combination of real and craft pumpkins, every pumpkin is hand-carved in the same artistic manner, using 2D and 3D techniques, as real jack-o-lanterns.
There are various themes, from Jurassic Park, classic movies, cars, Greek Mythology, music and much more.
This family and pet friendly event is an easy way to fill your camera roll with meticulously carved pumpkins, dazzling displays and clever creativity.

Regarding how they select themes, their creative team creates themes and also take feedback from guests to give them what they’re looking for.
The event goes on rain or shine and guests must remain in their vehicles at all times.
There are portable bathrooms on site, along with very friendly team members.
Once on the drive path, you’ll experience a 2.5 km loop and for an added bonus, they’ve got a soundtrack available through an FM radio station.
The events runs until November 7th.
