The Canadian Tire Christmas Trail is back for 2021

Due to the overwhelming success of their 2020 version, the Canadian Tire Christmas Trail is back for 2021.
It features a 1.5 km drive through experience with tens of thousands of lights, extremely enthusiastic elves, Christmas carols, Mrs.Claus and of course, Santa himself.
There are various Christmas themes to experience, from cool snow globes to live carollers (that sound really good!) and Santa’s workshop, plus many others in between.

One important thing to note, from the organizers:
The Trail runs through conservation land and the inclusion of pets in vehicles has drawn out wild animals which pose a risk to event staff. If a pet is present in the vehicle, you will NOT be permitted entry.

The drive itself is between 15 and 25 minutes with a set speed limit of 5 km/h.
As with any drive through event, it’ll duration will depend on a variety of factors, primarily how the car in front of you behaves and if they make long, frequent stops.

There’s even a Spotify and Apple Music playlist the team has created for you!

I went for their media preview night and was, again, thoroughly impressed with the set up and more importantly, the service levels of the team.
Make sure your phone is charged as you’ll be taking a plethora of pictures at this dazzling Christmas event.
