Hazel McCallion’s 100th birthday is on February 14th, 2021 - What is the City of Mississauga doing to celebrate?
February 14, 2021 is Hazel McCallion Day – a particularly special day this year, Hazel McCallion’s 100th birthday!
Hazel led the City of Mississauga as Mayor from 1978 to 2014, earning the title of one of Canada’s longest-serving mayors. She left a strong mark on Mississauga and this week, on Wednesday, February 10 at General Committee, the City is excited to celebrate her 100th birthday. Everyone is invited to watch the live stream, featuring a special performance by America’s Got Talent star, Roberta Battaglia.
