IDEA Mississauga: Step-Up Program 2022 Highlights
As we progress toward a new modern world, there’s been a plethora of progress in Mississauga’s business community.
2022 was a remarkable year for IDEA Mississauga as they’ve continued supporting local businesses in various ways.
IDEA Mississauga has the essential building blocks that entrepreneurs and innovators need to solve society’s greatest challenges. A network of mentorship, partners, talent and connections to test, scale and commercialize solutions to global challenges.
They’re Mississauga’s collaborative lead for entrepreneurship & innovation, a distinctive community that supports and connects local and globally minded entrepreneurs and businesses, generating international recognition for the City.
Their vision is elevating Mississauga’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem by collaboratively supporting businesses to launch and grow, striving for inclusivity, diversity, sustainability and global engagement.
The 2022 six-month IDEA Step-Up Program was especially successful.
The program supports innovative and inclusive companies to grow and overcome barriers.
Six local businesses had the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars that address common challenges faced by C-suite leaders of scaling companies, connect with experienced mentors, speakers, and peers, and present to investors, industry partners and City of Mississauga representatives towards their next round of funding, sales and partnerships.
With a focus on sustainability and inclusivity, innovative businesses receive a tailored program to help them grow their company while simultaneously contributing to social and environmental change.
2022’s six business participants are:
ABA Hughes
ACTN (Always Connected Treatment Network)
Anatomiz3D Healthcare Limited
