Shout out to the good people over at Canada’s Forty Creek Canadian whisky brand for working with “will-the-Eglinton-Crosstown-Project-ever-ever-ever-be-completed” Metrolinx to help get GO Transit and UP Express riders home safe this New Years Eve. How? Through free rides starting at 7:00 pm on Dec 31 and 8:00 am on January 1.

For all commuters planning to make their way into a city along Go Transit routes to celebrate the arrival of 2024, this is a terriric program and even better that it’s the second year they’re combining forces to keep riders safer. There’s already too many impaired driving issues on our roads, let alone with the nonsense that can happen on NYE.

With routes spanning east-west from Niagara, and north to Barrie, all those in and around the GTA will be able to get to and from their planned celebrations safely and without worry.
