A delicious Cherry Berry Blast smoothie recipe
/Smoothies are extremely convenient to consume if you're in your backyard enjoying the weather, nestled on the couch or even if you're in motion. We've got a great summer smoothie recipe for you that's healthy, refreshing and full of flavour!
Makes just over 3 cups (2 moderate servings or one large)
Ingredients
1 cup frozen cherries
1/3 cup pineapple chunks
1/3 cup each of fresh raspberries, blackberries and blueberries
3 large strawberries with greens
Handful of kale
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2- 1 cup coconut water or water
2 tbsp hemp hearts (save 1/2 for garnish)
2 tsp raw honey (optional)
Directions
Put all ingredients (1/2 cup of the coconut water to start) in a high speed blender. Start it on low and bring up to high speed for about 45 seconds or until smooth, adding up to another 1/2 cup of water (if desired). Pour into glasses and garnish with hemp hearts.
