The Mississauga Canoe Club's Dragon Boat Festival 2017

The Mississauga Canoe Club (MCC) is a not for profit organization providing a wide range of programs for the Port Credit and  Mississauga community and has produced many world class and Olympic athletes. Founded in 1958, MCC has been committed to helping athletes reach their goals and become champions on and off the water. The club offers programs for boys and girls, men and women of all ages and skill levels.
Mississauga Dragon Boat Festival 2017 is an annual event, hosted by the Mississauga Canoe Club. It promotes corporate team building, competition and fun while raising funds for local charitable and non-profit organizations.

Held in the heart of the bustling and picturesque Port Credit Village, MDBF 2017 promises to be the anchor summer sports event for Port Credit and the city of Mississauga alike.
The event will start at 7:15 a.m. with team registration followed by Team Captains Meeting at 7:45 a.m. Races will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will run until approximately 3:30 p.m. with award presentations to follow.

Food vendors will be available throughout the day and there are a number of great restaurants and bars in Port Credit village if you would like to celebrate with your team after the event!

Sunday, June 11th, 2017 will mark the 14th Annual MDBF!  MDBF 2016 drew 43 teams and their supporters, and multiple sponsors and vendors in our event for a total in excess of 1500 participants and hundreds of local spectators!  This year, we are once again partnering with Cardiac Kids in support of SickKids Foundation.  
To date, with our sponsors invaluable support, MCC has helped raise over $100,000 in much needed funds for children suffering from congenital heart disease."

It takes a village to pull off a successful even like this, and it's one of the reasons why we are partnering with Port Credit BIA to recruit local vendors and artisans and get more exposure. Our value-added sponsorship packages are truly customizable and can meet the unique marketing goals and budgets of any organization, big or small!

We are always looking for new opportunities in terms of new sponsorship, as not only it helps make a great event such as MDBF a huge success, but it also contributes to the paddling experience we can provide to Mississauga residents. In the past 3 years, our membership has been up and growing steadily. The funds raised through our generous sponsors go directly to the paddlers and are used to enhance their development.
