Learn about the The Trillium Diwali Gala

The Trillium Diwali Gala is GTA’s first and largest Diwali event. Over the last 16 years, with the support of our generous community and sponsors, The Trillium Diwali Gala has raised more than $9 million for life-saving programs at Trillium Health Partners - Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and west Toronto's Queensway Health Centre. Proceeds from this year’s gala will support our hospital’s Regional Stroke and Neurosurgical Program.

Two million brain cells are lost every minute without blood—your investment
makes every second count for our community—and beyond.

Trillium Health Partners’ Regional Stroke Centre serves 2.8 million people from Oakville to Orangeville to west Toronto, and sees the most stroke patients in Ontario. Last year, the centre saw a 191 per cent spike in urgent procedures. And this is because strokes can happen to anyone—the young and the elderly - and they’re happening more frequently because of our rapidly aging community. Without advanced technologies, like the surgical biplane—a digital x-ray with two rotating cameras that takes simultaneous images of the brain—these clots cannot be found. In fact, two million brain cells are lost every minute without blood, so time is brain. With your partnership, you can help support our community in acquiring advanced treatment technologies. We invite you to join us at The Trillium Diwali Gala, and help us take care of our community, friends, and neighbours for the future. Our featured performers this year are the internationally acclaimed Rhythm Dhol Bass (RDB). Founded by brothers Kuly, Manj, and Surj, RDB is one of the world’s foremost platinum-selling South Asian entertainers, singers, producers and musicians. RBD sat atop the BBC radio’s Top 20 for six straight weeks, Red FM’s Top 10, and BBC Asian Network’sTop 10. Rhythm Dhol Bass has successfully pioneered a distinct style of British Bhangra to present a unique, raw urban sound. Since their initial 2001 release, they’ve attracted an international fan base of millions from across the globe. To learn more or purchase tickets, visit www.diwaligala.ca
