Windmill Music presents The Age of Rock and Roll
/Calling all Rockers! For two nights The Great Hall in Mississauga will come alive with the Rock Music of the Ages. Windmill Music is set to present an exhilarating mix of Classic Rock with its new concert, The Age of Rock and Roll on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 8 p.m. at the Great Hall located at 84 South Service Rd, Mississauga. (QEW/Hwy 10). Come to groove and soak it all in as the professional Windmill cast performs an energetic array of music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
Showcasing 14 professional vocalists from the Mississauga area, The Age of Rock and Roll will delight audiences with its high-calibre musicianship and authentic cabaret experience complete with complimentary snacks, candlelight and cash bar. Ample free parking on site.
“Spring is here - it's time to let your hair down, shake off the cobwebs and start living again,” explains Windmill Theatre Artistic Director Brian Pritchard. “This great music will excite you and lift your spirits - so come and spend the evening with us, soak in the atmosphere and groove the night away. The fourteen voice Windmill Singers and our Band love Rock and Roll and love to sing the music of an unforgettable era.”
Featured vocalists include Heidi Cyfko, Michelle Giacometti, Christa Clahane, Emily Klatt, Katie Westrope, Raylin Marcotte, Diana Rimac, Erin Boyle, Chris Burke, Blair Barnsdale, Jason Hales, Justin Bacchus, Heather Christine and Brian Pritchard. The Windmill Band is comprised of Alex Furlott on bass, Andrew Scott on drums and Fraser Melvin on guitar under the guidance of Windmill Music’s Musical Director Jennifer Tung.
