Modern Mississauga and the City of Mississauga have come together to present an ongoing series called “Ask the City.” We’ll share relevant information here and answer your questions about our city.
Today’s question is about library cards.

I work in Mississauga, but I don’t live here. Can I still get a library card?

Yes!
Library cards are free if you’re a resident, go to school, work or own property in Mississauga.

 You must bring a form of identification with your name and address and your proof of employment to any library location.

If your card is lost, damaged or stolen, you can bring your ID to the library and pay a fee of $2 to replace it.
