Learn about Mississauga's first-ever Skele-fun Costume Swap

Mississauga’s first-ever Skele-Fun Costume Swap happens on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 10AM-3PM at The Studio Paint Bar

Prior to October 6th, bring in your new or gently used costumes to either The Studio Paint Bar or Zest For Living and receive a ticket to redeem a costume at the event.

The goal of this creative event is to reduce single-use purchases during Halloween and keep costumes out of landfills and rather, be enjoyed for many years to come by different people.
And to promote and encourage a sustainable trend of “free-cycling.”

Families will enjoy this free event filled with fantastic festivities by Sing! Music Studios, Body Lab, Blo Beauty Bar , The Ten Spot, Three Crowns Photography and Talking Tree Wellness. Free activities provided by The Mortgage Coach and North Group Realty. Swag bags will be provided by InsureIt Group Insurance. The Studio will have cocktails and costumes for families to browse through.

Organizer and Modern Mississauga writer, Lauren Kim, is doing her best to gather costumes so there is plenty of selection for everyone, you may not find a costume on the day of the event due to good ol’ supply and demand.
Hopefully, with the help of this article, Lauren and her team will have a plethora of costumes donated/provided so that everyone who attends has something to take home.

On why she’s doing this, Lauren says:
”This event is a fun way to bring awareness to different areas where we can positively impact our environment and truly showcases what we can do when the community and local businesses come together! Let’s be impactful, engaging and act with positive intentions.”

Also, ICL Rezolve Business Solutions has made a cash donation towards running this free event, so a high five to them!
