Modern Mississauga presents Ask The City - Can I get information on the “Dogs Only Swim” happening in Mississauga
/Modern Mississauga and the City of Mississauga have come together to present an ongoing series called “Ask the City.” We’ll share relevant information here and answer your questions about our city.
Today’s question is about aquatic events in Mississauga.
I heard there will be a “Dogs Only Swim” happening in Mississauga – can I get more information?
The City of Mississauga is hosting a Dogs Only Swim event on Saturday, September 7 at the Lion’s Club of Credit Valley Outdoor Pool. The event is the first of its kind and marks the end of the City’s summer swim schedule.
Between 10 a.m. and noon, the outdoor pool will be open exclusively to dogs - no people in the pool allowed.
Space is limited so dog owners are asked to register prior to the event. Although the event is free, attendees are encouraged to make a donation to Mississauga Animal Services (SCARF), either online or at the event.
To participate in the event, dog owners must complete a mandatory waiver form, provide proof of vaccination and adhere to all Dog Swim Pool Rules.
