Award-Winning Mississauga artist THE iDENTiTY CRiSiS releases new video "Stuck Here"
/Mississauga rapper/singer/producer/film maker THE iDENTiTY CRiSiS (real name Paul Castro) is gearing up to release his latest music video “Stuck Here” with Grammy Award winner King George (Orlando, Florida’s Randall Crawford).
The concept of the video features Castro’s character and his girlfriend, played by fellow Mississauga singer/songwriter/actress and Miss Canada 2013 Melle Rose, caught in a time-loop. Directed and edited by Castro, and assisted by his production team Jennifer Tarenta and Rose Perez, the video drops on Sunday and pays homage to Harold Ramis’ 1993 classic “Groundhog Day” which stars Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell.
Since he last spoke with Modern Mississauga Media, Castro has had some exciting opportunities. In late 2019, Castro was notified that music he worked on with fellow Mississauga producers the Durrani Bros. was being seen and heard regularly on NBC’s “A Little Late with Lilly Singh”. He also returned to the stage after a 6 year hiatus, performing at the Mississauga Music Awards Afterparty in 2019.
The music video contains a free download of the EP “A Dark Light Vol. 1”
