Modern Mississauga presents Ask The City - Is there COVID-19 guidance and information available for older adults and caregivers?

Modern Mississauga and the City of Mississauga have come together to present an ongoing series called “Ask the City.” We’ll share relevant information here and answer your questions about our city.
Today’s question is about resources available to older adults and caregivers during the COVID-10 outbreak.

Is there COVID-19 guidance and information available for older adults and caregivers?

The City of Mississauga has launched a web page that provides guidance and information for older residents and their caregivers.

Residents can find information on symptoms and prevention, health and wellness and key emergency contacts. The web page also provides links to online Library services and free online videos, workouts and other resources to help older adults stay healthy while practicing physical distancing.

A printable information sheet is also available on the web page.

Anyone who may not be able to access the web page is advised to ask a friend or family member to assist.

For updates on actions the City is taking to help residents, visit mississauga.ca/coronavirus or follow them on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
