Relaunching The New Modern

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explor.png

I believe in second chances, recalibrating and that not everything is right the first time around.
With that comes the re-launch of The New Modern with a sharper focus, revised vision and renewed energy.

What happened to The New Modern after its initial launch in the Spring of 2020?
Well, after nearly a dozen interviews and subsequent articles, there were some significant personal changes I went through that took priority.
If I didn’t have balance and stability in my personal life, there was no way I could have it in my professional life.
I took the past few months to reprioritize and revaluate all aspects of my life and while I’ll spare the details here, they’ll be addressed in upcoming episodes and articles.

Back to why you’re here though; to get the update on The New Modern’s relaunch.
Here’s what’s on the social media bio’s:

Exploring & navigating our New Modern world through a series of honest conversations across a myriad of topics.

Our world is different and nearly everything has changed.
Some for the better, some for the worse.
Regardless, we’re all impacted.

The goal is to share the stories of how people have been affected by the pandemic, how it’s changed them and what their new modern world looks like.
It will be through raw, human and honest conversations that provides insight into how we are navigating the new world.

Topic-wise, nearly everything is on the table.
Dating/relationships, money, business, arts, creatives, culture, food and drink, travel, transportation, entrepreneurs, media, education, health and wellness, and many more.

The information will be presented in either video or written content across The New Modern Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages and on this website.

The New Modern will still be housed beneath the Modern Mississauga Media umbrella and there’ll be crossposting to help increase exposure of these conversations.
