There will be no garbage exemption period this autumn in Mississauga

This autumn, the Region of Peel will not be offering a garbage exemption period as they usually do.

A Tweet from September 3rd, 2021 says:
”Extra garbage must be tagged to be collected or brought to a Community Recycling Centre (CRC).”

Garbage tags are required for excess garbage, should you have more than the allotted amount.

Untagged garbage will not be collected.

You can take excess garbage and bulky items to any Community Recycling Centre (CRC), where a disposal fee will apply.
