The Fifth Annual Farmer's Market Returns to Mississauga's Creative Hub 1352 for 2024

The eagerly awaited return of the Lakeview Farmers and Artisan Market is set to return for its fifth season at Mississauga’s Small Arms Inspection Building on May 26th, 2024, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Held weekly on Sundays from May 26th to October 27th, the Market features local, sustainable, organic, and artisanal products, which provide an important source of income for local farmers, growers, producers, and artisans. 

Throughout its 26-week run, the Market will feature more than 30 local farmers and food vendors, as well as a bi-weekly artisan market with an additional 60 rotating vendors. Whether visitors are seeking farm-fresh produce, artisanal crafts, gourmet treats, or unique handmade goods, there will be something for everyone at the Market.

The Market operates hybridly indoors and outdoors, with local buskers, entertainment, a cafe, and much more. Throughout the season, the Market will also be home to exciting activities such as a Garlic Festival, Vintage Clothing Market, Multicultural Festival, and many more, where additional vendors, games, and workshops will be available for attendees to enjoy.

The Lakeview Farmers’ and Artisan Market is operated by CreativeHub 1352, a non-profit, charitable, community-driven organization which exists for the advancement of community cultural development through the arts, heritage, and environmental sciences. One of the many groups vital to the reuse of the Small Arms Inspection Building, all proceeds from the market will be reinvested into the market to support local farmers, producers, artisans and education.
