1. Why are you running for Mayor?
I am running for Mayor because I believe in the potential of Mississauga and its residents. I want to lead our city towards a future of prosperity, sustainability, and inclusivity.
2. What makes you stand out over other candidates?
What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to advocating for a Subway for Mississauga. This project is crucial for our city's growth, improving transportation efficiency, and enhancing connectivity for all residents.
3. What are your campaign priorities and what's your approach to tackling them?
My campaign priorities include:
· No to Homelessness: Implementing strategies to address homelessness and provide support for those in need.
· Affordable Housing: Working to increase the availability of affordable housing options.
· Safer Communities: Enhancing safety measures, including improved lighting in parks and covered bus shelters.
· Keeping Bloor Street Two-Way Lanes: Preserving the current traffic flow for the benefit of residents and businesses.
4. What budget item is the most important for Mississauga?
The most important budget item for Mississauga is investing in affordable housing initiatives. This will not only address the housing crisis but also improve the overall quality of life for residents.
5. What are your three favourite aspects of Mississauga?
My three favorite aspects of Mississauga are its diverse community, beautiful parks and green spaces, and vibrant local businesses.
6. How will you be actively supporting our local businesses if elected?
If elected, I will actively support our local businesses by implementing policies that promote entrepreneurship, provide resources for growth, and create a supportive business environment.
7. What does Mississauga currently excel at?
Mississauga currently excels at its diverse and inclusive community, strong economy, and commitment to sustainability.
8. How would you communicate with residents and what communication standards can voters expect?
I will communicate with residents through regular town hall meetings, community events, and online platforms. Voters can expect transparent and open communication, with a focus on addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about city matters.
