While most eyes are focussed on the mayoral by-election happening on June 10th, there’s a very important Ward 5 by-election happening as well. It’s the largest ward in the city and is home to Canada’s largest airport.

Former Mississauga Mayor and Ward 5 Councillor, Bonnie Crombie is endorsing Natalie Hart for the Ward 5 position.

“My friend Natalie Hart has a proven track record, and I know she has the work ethic, experience and skills to continue delivering real results," said Crombie.

Hart says “Bonnie Crombie has shown exemplary leadership across three levels of government and in the private sector. I’m honoured to have her support, especially given her deep ties to Ward 5 and her unique insight into residents’ needs from her time as the local councillor…Ward 5 knows her for always being open, accessible, approachable and accountable, and that’s the example I intend to follow as the next councillor for Ward 5.”

Nothing yet on who or if Crombie will endorse as her replacement.
