Modern Travel - Holiday Valley in the Green Season in Ellicottville, New York
/Just south of the border in Western New York lies the family-friendly resort of Holiday Valley. The “Green Season” at Holiday Valley gives Canadians a chance to get out of the city and relax in the fresh air and uncrowded hills around Ellicottville. Visitors can golf the Double Black Diamond Course with 18 challenging and scenic holes, climb in the treetops at Sky High Adventure Park, zip down the mountain on the Sky Flyer Mountain Coaster, pan for crystal treasures at Mr. Happy Gem Mining Company, cool off and relax at the pools, Cabana Bar and Game Deck, and mountain bike and hike the trails at the resort and in the adjacent state forest.
