Dyments

This farm, located in Dundas, was established in 1887 and offers photo worthy views, delicious foods, and a ton of fun of the whole family! Visit Dyments any Saturday or Sunday in October, as well as Thanksgiving Monday, for all the seasonal fun you want. Round the Bend Farm

This small family working farm is in Kettleby, just 45 minutes from Mississauga. While it’s small in size, it offers lots of family friendly activities like scarecrow characters, peek-a-boo displays, a straw maze, tube chute, corn maze, farm animals, tic tac toe, music boards, pumpkin bowling, and so much more. You can also pick out a pumpkin in your choice of orange, white, pink, or tan and lumpy or smooth. If you’re looking for a unique pumpkin, look no further! The Good Family Farm in Waterloo grows over 30 different varieties of pumpkins to choose from including naked seed, porcelain doll, Jarrahdale, fairytale, Cinderella’s cage, warty goblin and many more in a full variety of colours, sizes, textures and prices. Downey’s Farm Market

Since 1987, Downey’s Farm Market has been a great place to pick your own pumpkin from the patch or the market’s front lawn, and it’s conveniently located in north Brampton. Their Pumpkinfest is open daily and includes a wide variety of activities including wagon rides, the boo barn, farm animals, live entertainment, puppet shows, straw jumping, jumping pillow, and a huge 8-acre corn maze that will challenge you! Open daily from 9-5 and located in nearby Milton, Springridge is a great place to have some fun outdoors or to visit their farm market, bakery and gift shop. Dubbed the Fun Farm Yard, they offer a spider web climber, tube slides, straw play, goat mountain, farm animals, tractors, or take in the singing chicken show. A bit further away, you’ll find Snyder’s Family Farm in Bright. They offer the option of visiting their huge pumpkin patch or spending a day making memories at their Fall Fun festival that runs every weekend. Hutchinson Farm

Drysdale’s 

North of the city, in the town of Egbert, is Drysdale’s where a train ride will take you to their Haunted Harvest Village. Here you can get a scare along the haunted trail, be entertained by the pick-pocket magician, climb the sand mountain, sail along the ziplines, roast marshmallows or hot dogs at the bon fire, snap pics at their photo stations, or enjoy a snack. The train ride back stops at the pumpkin field where you can purchase the perfect pumpkin from a huge assortment. Their Evergreen Store has everything you need from corn stalks and hay bales to devilish delights for decorating your home inside and out. If you’re up for a bit of a drive, the Forsythe Family Farm (just outside of Uxbridge) is open Thursday to Sunday weekly with pumpkin picking from the field or a convenient pre-picked coral.
