Just peachy - Crofter's Organic Peach Premium Spread
/Disclaimer: Crofters somehow knew how peach jam is the only jam I consume so they reached out to me and I happily accepted their offer to try out two jars of their Organic Peach Premium Spread.
Peach jam is thoroughly underrated. There. I said it. I mean it.
In a world of berry-based jams/spreads, our friend the peach often gets overlooked by consumers in the jams and spreads section.
Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, mixed berry, and so on. They’re certainly not bad options by any means - they’re just not for me.
Previously, I’d be limited to a different brand of peach jam, which was good but I’ve longed for a high-end competitor because, well, I like options. Besides, what if my current brand stopped making it…then what?
The two jars arrived in March and I’ve finally gone through both of them, so I’m now ready to share my thoughts.
The short version? A solid 12/10.
The consistency is terrific, there’s so much flavour, just enough sweetness and there’s real pieces of organic peaches.
I’ve used it on bread, I’ve baked with it, I’ve put it on pancakes, I’ve eaten it by the spoonful as a midnight snack, I’ve added it to plain balkan yogurt, I’ve made milkshakes with it and French vanilla ice cream, and I’ve had it with crackers.
Plus, the jars are great for planting seeds or other kitchen uses that require smaller jars.

Should you try it? Probably.
