Lucie Shaw, Event Chair, of the Mississauga Rotary Ribfest, announces that based on the overwhelming support of the community for the Drive Thru event last Fall “We are back!” “

Based on the success of the October 2020 event that saw supporters from the Mississauga and surrounding areas consumed over 25,000 lbs of finger lickin’ ribs, this event is highly anticipated.

“We will continue in our Drive-Thru format and with the support of Erin Mills Town Centre, we are able to bring the event back in an environment that protects the health and safety of all the families in our community. Strong measures continue to be taken to ensure the safety of both our guests and volunteers.

For the past 14 years, Amacon has been proudly serving the Mississauga community as the presenting sponsor of the Mississauga Rotary Ribfest.
”Since the beginning of Ribfest, Rotary has donated over $1.7 million to charitable causes, and we are humbled to have played a part in that journey “says an Amacon spokesperson.

Ribfest continues to be a community fundraiser with the proceeds from this event going to support the Mississauga Food Bank.”

A charitable entry fee of $4 will be added to every order. Proceeds will be donated to Mississauga Food Bank and other Rotary sponsored charities.

As a volunteer-run event, we thank all those who help every year. Without our volunteers, we could not make this happen.
