AM//PM Helps Bring Live Music Back to Mississauga on Saturday, September 11th at Celebration Square’s Amphitheatre
/Concert promoter AM//PM is bringing their concert series to Mississauga for the first time! This night of amazing music will take place at Celebration Square’s Amphitheatre on Saturday September 11th at 7:00 PM. Taking the stage will be local GTA acts Big Smoke Brass, gee., and Vivek Mehmi.
Big Smoke Brass is a Toronto band dedicated to educating the next generation of musicians. They play a unique blend of pop and rock with a brass flair. gee., native to Mississauga creates ambient musical soundscapes of different genres from hip hop and R&B to reggaeton and pop. Vivek Mehmi uses music as a way of healing. He creates introspective and inspiring tracks that are influenced by his life and the challenges that he has faced.
These artists promise a great evening getting back to the live music that we have all been missing. “There are so many amazing artists that come from Mississauga. Having grown up here, I am so excited to be a part of bringing live music back to this city” says AM//PM Director Adam Moffatt.
Tickets for the event are pay-what-you-can ($15 recommended), with no one being turned away due to lack of funds. COVID-19 protocols will be in place. There is accessible seating available at the amphithere. Follow AM/PM on social media for all the details.
