/The 2024 Hyundai Sonata sees a major refresh with a distinct new front and rear end, plus a revamped interior up front.
Interestingly, Canada will no longer offer a hybrid model, while the US sees two hybrid trims. Hyundai Canada said it's due to lack of demand but if there's enough of a solid case to bring it back, they'll consider it.
One drawback here is the Sonata has the highest fuel consumption among immediate competitors but it counters that with a geared eight-speed transmission, not a CVT/e-CVT.
With the Camry leading the crop, the Sonata, Honda Accord and Nissan Altima are they key mid-size sedan players.Plus, the slightly smaller Hyundai Elantra is a good, slightly smaller alternative.
