Mandarin Restaurants in Mississauga Offering FREE Dine-In Buffet Meals on July 1st, 2024

In a move guaranteed to create lineups into the hundreds, Mississauga Mandarin Restaurants, along with all Ontario locations, will be offering everyone a free buffet meal on July 1st, 2024.
What’s the occasion? This promotion is commemorating 45 years of Mandarin in Canada.

For reference, the Mississauga standard pice for a holiday lunch buffet is $29.99 and the dinner buffet rings in at $39.99, all before drinks, tax and optional tip.
With a plethora of over 100 menu items, expect lineups to start in the morning before the open the doors at noon.

The fine print says the first seating is at noon and the last seating is at 8:00 pm.
It’s first-come, first-served and there will be no reservations.
Drinks, take-out and delivery are not included; it’s dine-in only.
Here’s all the fine print.

The company is projecting they’ll dish out over 40,000 spring rolls, 2,500 pounds of rice, over 65,000 sweet and sour chicken balls, and 40,000 fortune cookies.

Originating as a small, à la carte restaurant in Brampton in 1979, Mandarin has expanded to 30 locations across Ontario, with more than 2,500 staff and 150 managing partners.

“When our family started Mandarin more than four decades ago, we built our business on providing delicious meals for everyone in a welcoming space, for guests to create special moments in our restaurants,” says James Chiu, President and Co-Founder of Mandarin Restaurants. “All these years later, we are honoured to see new generations of families make special Mandarin moments and we want to thank everyone for contributing to its success with our free buffet event this Canada Day.”

If you’re familiar with Mandarin, everything on their regular buffet will be available; the hot foods and grill table, soup and salad bar, prime rib counter, sushi corner, desserts counter, and ice cream sundae and frozen yogurt bar.

It’s a fantastic promotion, especially with food prices constantly rising.
That said, how long would you wait in line for this promotion?
