Two Mississauga locations selected as Canada's top 150 hidden gems

To celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) launched a three month contest asking Canadians to submit their favorite Hidden Travel Gems from coast-to-coast.

These hidden gems ranged from picturesque hiking trails and secret spots for family picnics, to cultural landmarks and other undiscovered local attractions.

After receiving over 4,000 submissions from Canadians across all provinces, they selected their top 150 hidden gems, and Rattray Marsh Conservation Area and Riverwood Park from Mississauga made the list!

There is no better way to celebrate Canada then by showcasing all the beautiful places this great nation has to offer.
