Volvo has brought the back the premium station wagon in a big way for 2017 by offering two models; the luxurious V90 and the rugged V90 Cross Country (which sees pronounced wheel arches, a higher stance and a few other fun tidbits) both of which have the most comfortable seats in the industry plus, advanced active safety technology.
It's certainly a bold move, seeing as the majority of consumers are heavily leaning on SUV's/CUV's/Crossovers. The Swedes are banking on folks who want the functionality combined with a lower seating position, all wrapped up in a high class, premium package.
