Saturday, October 27 Noon to 3 p.m. Mississauga Celebration Square
Little trick-or-treaters can put on their best costume and start the Halloween festivities on an extra sweet note at Mississauga Celebration Square! After trick-or-treating through Sweet Tooth Central, junior ghouls and goblins will want to save their appetite for a life-sized game of Hungry Hungry Hippos. Adventure-loving youngsters can take a ride on the Candy Corn Carts, feel the magic in the Unicorn Play Patch or snap a selfie with a 10-foot candy-loving octopus.
Rock the Arts will energize the audience with Superhero Showdown shows at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. And with giant Jenga, Connect Four, play blocks, a 10-foot Etch A Sketch and video games on the big screens, this is a pre-Halloween event the kids won’t want to miss!
Fantastic Beasts of Benares Sunday, October 28 Noon to 4 p.m. Benares Historic House
Prepare to be spooked! Discover the hidden magical beasts of Benares. Event-goers can meet and greet real life reptiles or enjoy a game of Quidditch with the whole family. Make sure to take a peek at our wizarding shops and tempt your taste buds with some hauntingly familiar treats.
Park Your Pumpkin Thursday, November 1 6 to 8 p.m. Bradley Museum
Is your pumpkin sad and lonely the day after Halloween? Afraid of what the future holds? Give your pumpkin new life by bringing it to Bradley Museum’s pumpkin parade! Drop off your pumpkin anytime during the afternoon on November 1 or in the evening where you can wander the Bradley grounds after dark. There will be music, cider, cookies and fun for the whole family.
