Reflection: The Journey A Black History Month Exhibit at Pixie Blue Studio
/Pixie Blue Studio, Mississauga's quickly growing hub for the arts has been quite busy since their opening in late 2017. As they propel forward with continuing to serve the community, they've got a new exhibit launching Saturday, February 10th, 2018 celebrating Black History Month.
Founder Karen Ferguson says "we believe that this exhibit should inspire everyone to be themselves authentically. It should encourage us to explore the idea of "self". How do we see ourselves? How do we want to be seen? How do others see us? The idea of conformity vs. displacement. Self-image, self-awareness, selfishness and selflessness.
Please join us on Saturday February 10th, 2018 - 7-9 p.m. for the Opening of Reflection: The Journey. Meet our artists and learn about their vision and story behind each of the works that reflect their personal journey."
This exhibit will be on display at Pixie Blue Studio until the end of February 2018
