Sauga Teens Got Talent Singing Competition at the 2018 Streetsville Bread & Honey Festival
/On Saturday June 2, the Streetsville Founders’ Bread and Honey Festival will once again host Sauga’s Teens Got Talent singing contest produced by the Mississauga Arts Council and sponsored by Metalworks Institute.
“We loved the contest last year and the talent was unbelievable. We were so proud of the performers and had to have MAC bring it back again,” said Sandra Pitts, Streetsville Festival Director.
20 teenage singers from Mississauga are expected to compete for music industry courses from Metalworks Institute and the first place finisher wins a recording session at Metalworks Studios.
Metalworks Studios is home to Drake and many of the world’s greatest recording artists, and has won the best studio in Canada award 17 times!
Last year’s winner Kendra Charest-French went on to win at Rotary Singfest and is currently writing and recording with Metalworks.

We will select the top 25 performers from the audition clips and send them their appearance schedule and details about playback.
The Contest runs on Saturday, June 2 from 2 PM - 6 PM at Streetsville Memorial Park, Community Stage outside the arena, 355 Church St, Mississauga, ON L5M 2C2.
The top 3 perform an encore presentation on Saturday evening on the Main Stage at the Bread and Honey Festival. The grand prize winner will automatically be placed in the finals of Singfest at Ribfest in July.
