Explosion injures 15 at Bombay Bhel restaurant at Hurontario and Eglinton

Peel Regional Police are seeking two men who allegedly a bomb inside Bombay Bhel restaurant on the northeast corner of Hurontario and Eglinton late Thursday night that left 15 people wounded; three with critical injuries.

“I have spoken with Chief Evans and will be on site at 7:30 a.m. for a media update. My thoughts are with the victims and their families,” Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie said in a tweet Friday morning, May 25th.

Police are describing the first suspect as mid-20s, 5’10-6 ft. with a stocky build, wearing dark blue jeans, a dark zip-up hoodie and a baseball cap with light grey peak.
