Where to ice skate in Mississauga
/Mississauga has many indoor and outdoor ice rinks, natural rinks and outdoor skating locations for leisure skating. Lace-up a pair of skates and find your new favourite spot to drop-in for some winter fun!
Indoor Rinks/Arenas
Drop-in and skate with family and friends at an arena in your neighbourhood. There are many different types of drop-in programs from drop-in fun skates to drop-in shinny or cardio skates! Outdoor Rinks
Mississauga has three outdoor artificial ice rinks for your skating pleasure, which are maintained by the City. The rinks are open daily, weather permitting.
Mississauga Celebration Square Ice Rink (300 City Centre Drive)
Open every day from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and skating is free! Skate rentals and sharpening services are available on-site at a cost. Don’t forget to stop by The Cabin’s heated patio to warm up or stop by CCafe steps away from the rink to enjoy a tasty treat! Located behind the Glen Commons plaza at Glen Erin Drive and The Collegeway, this free rink is walking distance via the Glen Erin Trail and can also be accessed from Woodhurst Crescent or Ash Row Crescent. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Supervised drop-in programs are free and available Monday to Friday 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Burnhamthorpe Community Centre Outdoor Covered Rink (1500 Gulleden Drive)
Located within steps of the Chic Murray indoor arena and Burnhamthorpe Community Centre, this 100×100 square foot playing surface has an overhead roof to help maintain ice conditions when the temperatures change or when it rains or snows – bonus: the change rooms are heated! Drop-in for a skate around the rink. The rink is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Supervised drop-in programs are free!
Natural Ice Rinks
Love to skate in the fresh air, capturing snowflakes on your tongue? Mississauga has 24 natural ice rinks organized and maintained by neighbourhood volunteers. Holiday Fun Skates
