Mississauga's Crane Creations Theatre Company Seeks Actors For Their Summer Ensemble Project
/We are seeking Actors to join us for our summer ensemble project. You will be working in a fun and creative environment, with an emphasis on learning new acting skills and techniques. In addition, you will learn about Canadian and international theatre in order to gain knowledge of the professional theatre landscape. This unique project will immerse you in all aspects of being a professional artist, with an emphasis on learning and professional development.
Some of the fun things you will do:
Shakespeare’s text and character development
Dramaturgy and play development
Improvisation
Learning about Canadian and International theatres
Research and writing

Term: Jun 22 - August 30, 2020 (10 week contract position - summer jobs)
Callback dates: June 17th, 2020
Salary: $16/hr x 37.5 hours/week

This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. In order to be eligible for this position, applicants MUST:
• be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
• be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act2; and,
• be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
You do NOT have to be a student.
