Ontario to lift proof of vaccine requirement and capacity limits in all indoor public settings on March 1st, 2022
/As of March 1st, 2022, Ontario will lift the majority of the public health measures and eliminate proof of vaccination requirements.
Ford says ““Given how well Ontario has done in the Omicron wave we are able to fast track our reopening plan…I think we are going in the right direction, I’m confident if we continue moving down this path there won’t be a reason for it.”
Masking requirements will still be in place, however.
Does this announcement coincide with the June provincial election or the anti-mandate protesters in our nations capital?
Ford says no and that it’s because the positivity rates have fallen from 40% to 13% recently.
